Indiana

Best Case

Archie Miller continues his resurgence of the Hoosier program. Juwan Morgan improves on his 16 ppg last year to be the go-to guy for the Hoosiers. De’Ron Davis shows no lingering signs from his torn Achilles last year and provides another scorer for the improving Hoosiers. Projected one and done Romeo Langford lives up to the huge hype and gives them a playmaker they have been missing the last several years. They finish in second in the regular season and make a surprise run to the conference championship game where they upset Michigan State and get a five seed in the NCAA tournament and win their first two games to make it to the Sweet 16. The Hoosiers are riding high and Langford enjoyed IU so much that he decides to stay for another year and the Hoosiers are one of the favorites to win the Big Ten next year.

Worst Case

Morgan slips back after a great year last year and struggles to score. Davis is hampered by lingering effects of his torn Achilles. Langford is all he is billed up to be but without any help scoring teams lock him down. Miller struggles to find a consistent rotation for the Hoosiers that can score. Duke, Butler, and Louisville beat them easily in their non-conference schedule and then they struggle to get any traction in Big Ten play.

They slip down to 6th in the conference and get upset in the conference tournament again. They miss making it to the big dance and must settle for a trip to the NIT. Langford decides that one year is enough and bolts for the NBA. The Hoosiers are left hoping they can bring in another recruit and hopefully make the tournament next year.
