The non-conference slate for the Ole Miss Rebels will be quite the hand full for them this season. They open the season on Nov. 10 against the Western Michigan Broncos before traveling to Indiana to face the Butler Bulldogs on Nov. 16.

The Rebels return home on Nov. 20 to face the Nicholls State Colonels. Their Thanksgiving tournament will take them to Florida for the Emerald Coast Classic. They’ll face the Baylor Bears on Nov. 23 then the Cincinnati Bearcats or George Mason Patriots, pending the results.

Ole Miss will face the San Diego Toreros (Nov. 28) and Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks (Dec. 1) before traveling to their final road game against the Illinois State Redbirds on (Dec. 8). The Southeastern Louisiana Lions (Dec. 12) and Chattanooga Mocs (Dec. 16) are on the home agenda before a neutral-site contest in Nashville against Coach Davis’ former team, Middle Tennessee (Dec. 21).

A home game against Dunk City and the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles (Dec. 29) will close their schedule until another meeting in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge against the Iowa State Hawkeyes (Jan. 26). Their non-conference schedule isn’t the toughest out there, but they’ll be adjusting to a new coach so it should make for positive results entering conference play. It does help though they’ll have the SEC/Big 12 Challenge to gauge where they stand at the end of January.
