Season Outlook

The Clemson Tigers are going to look to build on last season’s Sweet 16 appearance. They have the roster to win a lot of games and get back to the NCAA Tournament and possibly win a couple of games.

Brad Brownell is looking to build this program. He doesn’t want last season to be the only good season. They want to build this basketball program into a consistent NCAA Tournament team.

There’s no reason why they can’t do that. They’re expected to be back into the tournament this season and will look to develop some younger players who can step into main roles next season.

This team’s ceiling is likely a Sweet 16 appearance like a year ago. Anything can happen in March but they just have too many unproven players who will be playing big minutes this season.

Good guard play can win you a lot of games and they have that. Shelton Mitchell and Marcquise Reed can take this team deep, but it’s gonna be up to the other guys if they want to make this a season to remember.
