Predictions

Game 1:
Monday, November 19th, 2018

6:00 PM CST ESPNU

Nebraska 85 – Missouri State 72

The Huskers should beat Missouri State easily. However, with the way the Bears play and having the pseudo-home court advantage this game could be close for a while. Nebraska needs to do what they do and get to the rim, make their foul shots and make their threes. The Bears need to try and run Nebraska off the three-point line, and attempt to play defense without fouling.

Game 2:

Monday, November 19th, 2019

8:30 PM CST ESPN2

USC 78 – Texas Tech 70

This game could go either way as the tournament starts. Texas Tech will need to score and find creative ways to stop Rakocevic from getting the ball in the paint. If he gets the ball in the paint he is an elite finisher and is probably going to score. Can Texas Tech rebound the ball well enough to only limit USC to one look on each miss. How will they stop Kevin Porter?  Can USC get enough stops to build a big lead.? Can USC make their free throws?  These questions are all going to get answered Monday night.

Game 3:

Tuesday, November 20th, 2018

6:00 PM ESPN3

Missouri State 85 – Texas Tech 82

This game is going to be a battle and will go back and forth. The Bears will be able to make enough shots to grab this upset. Their defense will frustrate Texas Tech enough where Missouri State can pull off the upset against the Big 12 school.

Next. 3 takeaways from 2019 early signing day. dark

This tournament has been set up to have two fantastic days of basketball. This year is no exception.
