8) Naz Reid is going to be a problem for the SEC
LSU has looked pretty good on their way to a 4-0 record to this point in the year. Sophomore guard Tremont Waters is their leader but freshman forward Naz Reid has been arguably their best player, averaging 15.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
Scouts were high on the five-star forward for his size (6-10, 250 lbs) and versatility, and he has shown off his guard-like skills on multiple occasions. Check out the way he crosses up his defender with this step back jumper.
Reid’s size allows him to handle big men in the post and most players his size aren’t able to keep up with him on the perimeter. He’s a walking matchup nightmare and that versatility has made him a crucial piece of LSU’s offensive attack.
Once LSU’s schedule ramps up in the SEC, expect the Tigers to take even more advantage of Reid’s unique skill set – and expect him to become a star.
