And that very Freshman would go on to become a 2x Summit League Player of The Year, and one of the most lethal scoring big men in the country.

An almost guaranteed double-double on a nightly basis, what Daum lacks in athletic ability, he more than makes up for in his ways of slicing up defenses.

Daum currently shoots at .409 clip from long-range, something that we’ve accepted as fact from our 6’11” bigs in basketball now. Forcing you to pick your poison, Daum also shoots .560 from inside the arc, making scheming for him often times challenging.

Heading into December, Daum could have a potential season-defining game against the Memphis Tigers who allow their opponents to shoot an eFG% of 52.7%, ranking them 245th in the nation according to KenPom.

The big challenge for Daum and the Jack Rabbits when they hop on the Muss Bus to face Nevada on December 15th. The Wolf Pack are 43rd in the country when it comes to defending the three, which could make a tough outing for the Nebraska native.

At 7-2, the Jackrabbits have called upon Daum to bolster the scoreboard in their favor and he doesn’t shy away from it. His .626 TS%, .576 eFG% and 33.8 PER tell the story of a basketball player who has been a menace from day one.
