9: Saint Bonaventure (3-5)

Of all the teams that are hard to rank at this point, the Bonnies may be the hardest. On one hand they got pushed around at the very beginning of the season, but on the other, they were missing most likely their two best players. Courtney Stockard has only been back for two games, and LaDarien Griffin has been out since hurting his knee in the season opener.

It’s been made obvious over the course of the last two games how much value Stockard adds to this team, as the Bonnies have won their last two games by an average of 22 points (granted they were against Canisius and Delaware State, but still). We have to take the beginning of the season with a grain of salt, because of course the Bonnies were going to struggle. The two players that have been injured are the poised veteran presence on an otherwise extremely young and inexperienced team. It wouldn’t make sense to have the 3-5 Bonnies any higher than 9th at this point, but with Stockard back and the freshmen like Kyle Lofton continuing to thrive, they’re a definite candidate for a boost in the next edition.
