4. Jeremy Roach

Jeremy Roach is a 6-foot-2, five-star point guard who ranks No. 14 overall and No. 1 in his position in the 2020 class. Roach has taken three unofficial visits to the Villanova Wildcats over the course of two years. The only official visit he has taken was to Duke on Oct. 12, 2018. On Nov. 1, Roach narrowed his list to the following final four teams: Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Villanova.

Unfortunately, shortly after cutting his list to four – Roach suffered a right ACL injury that will sideline him for his entire junior season. Roach is an elite athlete who can change speeds with ease. On the offensive side of the floor, he is extremely patient and does a great job of getting to his spots. His favorite shots are the running floater and contested layup. Roach is also a tremendous ball handler. He isn’t afraid to draw contact when getting into the lane.

With current point guard Tre Jones expected to leave after just one year due to his rising draft stock and no true point guard in the 2019 class, Roach would be a huge recruit for the Blue Devils to land to help lead the team from the point guard position. Roach’s game is similar to that of former Blue Devil Frank Jackson. Unfortunately, the Blue Devils currently have a 0% chance to land Roach according to the 247Sports crystal ball. The Blue Devils did make the final four cut though, and appear to being getting warmer.  The 247 crystal ball gives Kentucky the best odds at 67%, and Villanova positioning themselves next at 33%.

There is currently no timetable for a decision to be made by Roach.
