24. Indiana Hoosiers

Record: 12-4 (3-2 Big Ten)

Last Week: No. 20

Despite losing back-to-back games, it is not yet time to worry about Indiana. Quite simply, winning on the road is extremely difficult, especially in the Big Ten, and the Hoosiers just had to face off against two of the best teams in Michigan and Maryland, both away from home. Additionally, it is important to mention that, even though the end result was not in their favor, IU hung tight with both teams for most of the matchups (and probably should have beaten Maryland after a strong first half…).

On the whole, this is a sure-fire top-25 team in the country when healthy, in my opinion. And now that Rob Phinisee, who played 17 minutes against Maryland after missing the previous three games, is starting to get back into the swing of things, we should start to see the Hoosiers snag some wins in the coming weeks. With that said, though, they do need to learn how to win on the road. To this point in the year, Indiana is only 1-4 in true road games with their lone victory coming over Penn State.

Looking ahead, the Hoosiers will play four of their next six games on the road (yes, after just playing back-to-back road games as well) and snagging at least one or two will be vital. With two elite scoring leaders in Romeo Langford and Juwan Morgan running the show, though, you have to think that IU is able to take a few road wins.
