Syracuse Orange

Syracuse easily recorded the best win of the entire week by taking down Duke on the road. And even though the Blue Devils were missing a couple of key pieces, this win could represent a huge turning point for the Orange. Syracuse absolutely needed a resume-defining win to rise up the projected seed lines and they got just that. In addition, the Orange also secured a home win over a rising Pittsburgh team.

Maryland Terrapins

Thanks to back-to-back wins over Wisconsin (home) and Ohio State (away), Maryland put together the best week of any team in America. The Terrapins have absolutely emerged as one of the best teams in the country over the past month and this week represented a top moment for the team. Head coach Mark Turgeon’s team has won seven games in a row to move to 16-3 (7-1 Big Ten) on the year. It is hard to argue with how well the team has played in recent weeks.
