The Top Three Players for the Spartans and Wolverines

Big Ten Player of the year leading candidate Junior Cassius Winston is averaging 18.3 Points, 2.4 Rebounds, and a remarkable 7.3 Assists per game. Helping him lead the charge for the Spartans is fellow Junior Nick Ward who is averaging 16.0 Points, 7.1 Rebounds, and 0.9 Assists per game. Another top player for the Spartans who have been limited to playing in only 13 games, Joshua Langford before being injured, was averaging 15.0 Points, 3.6 Rebounds, and 2.3 Assists per game. He is expected to be back in the lineup for their game versus Michigan in late February.

Michigan has three players of their own who are considered their top producing players. The Wolverines star player is Freshman Ignas Brazdeikis who is averaging 15.2 Points, 5.6 Rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. Providing Senior leadership is Charles Matthews who is averaging 13.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. The third leading producing for the Wolverines is Jordan Poole who is averaging 12.6 Points, 3.3 Rebounds, and 2.2 Assists. All three players look to put on quality performances when the Spartans visit Ann Arbor in late February.
