Washington Huskies

The Pac-12 finally has a “good” team in Washington. The Huskies, who entered the year with reasonably high expectations, struggled a bit to begin this year but they have now won nine consecutive games. They have clearly emerged as a team that could land an at-large bid should they lose in the Pac-12 tournament. Quite simply, their high talent level is starting to show as the team is moving up seed lines in a hurry.

During this past week, Washington swept the Oregon schools on the road. And while the Ducks and Beavers might not be tremendously talented this year, that is never an easy stretch of the schedule. UW is clearly proving that they are the top team in the conference at this point in time and they should continue to move up the standings. The Huskies are definitely approaching single-seed territory.

Washington received a No. 10 seed in our most recent bracketology update here at Busting Brackets and they are definitely trending up. Of course, there is an abundance of potential for a bad loss in the Pac-12 but I also think they will continue to roll through conference play. As long as they continue to win, the Huskies will land a dangerous seed.
