2. Baylor Bears (15-6, 6-2 Conference Play)

Previous Ranking: No. 7

Yep, you read that right. The Baylor Bears clock in at number two.

Scott Drew has done an absolutely phenomenal job of turning things completely around in Waco. The crazy comeback bid against Kansas last month was more than just a comeback falling short. It was a season-transforming game.

In a matter of weeks, Baylor has went from an NIT afterthought to an NCAA Tournament team, and serious Big 12 contender.

Baylor has beaten Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and TCU, and has won six-straight.

Remember how concerning Terry Clark’s injury was last month? Compiled with Jake Lindsey’s injury, there was no way Baylor would be able to come back from that.

Believe it or not, the injury made Baylor better. Makai Mason has transcended his game to unimaginable levels, dropping FORTY points on TCU on Saturday.

With Mason at the helm, and the Bears as hot as ever, Baylor is looking like one of the most surprising teams in the country.

What a turnaround for Baylor. From a cellar-dweller to a true competitor for a Big 12 title. Unbelievable.
