Indiana got what might have been a season-saving win at Michigan State on Saturday night. Coming into that game they had lost seven straight including a loss to Rutgers. Indiana was not playing well and shooting even worse. Throw in the fact that they lost Juwan Morgan for three-fourths of the game and it looked like the Spartans would be able to run away with the game.

With that win the Hoosiers now all of sudden look like they could still make the tournament. Not that it will be easy because they still have the same problems they had before they beat the Spartans. Romeo Langford has been great but he has not shot the ball very well and the rest of the team has not been any better.

They still have to play Iowa twice along with Purdue, Wisconsin and Michigan State once. It is not an easy schedule for the Hoosiers to try and finish the season well, but winning in East Lansing is a start. If Morgan is out an extended amount of time it will make even the more difficult. The Hoosiers have talent but they will need guys to step up if they want to make a push for the big dance or they might be heading to the NIT.
