Wisconsin had a tough game against Michigan State to start their week and came up six points short at home. It was their second straight loss, but they were two tough games against the Michigan schools. They were able to recover and picked up a tough win against Illinois on Monday night. While Illinois doesn’t have a great record this was still a good win for the Badgers.

The Badgers have a pretty soft schedule to end the year as they only play one ranked team, Iowa. They should be favored in all the other games and if they can win out they should, at worst, be the fourth seed heading into the Big Ten tournament. For a team that struggled early in the conference schedule, this would be a huge achievement.

Ethan Happ continues to lead the Badgers and along with Carsen Edwards has to be the favorite for the Big Ten POY. He should be considered one of the best big men in the country and is definitely one of the toughest to stop. He finds ways to score against almost anyone. As long as the Badgers have him playing at a high level they have a shot to beat anyone.
