A once promising season has just completely fallen off the tracks for the Hoosiers. They lost twice this week to Ohio State, who has been bad lately, and Minnesota. The game against the Buckeyes was a close game and could have gone either way, but they were completely blown out by the Golden Gophers 84-63.

Romeo Langford will probably still leave for the NBA but he has not been the savior many were hoping for when he signed with the Hoosiers. He and Juwan Morgan are the only ones on the team that look capable of scoring on a consistent basis and this may be one of the worst shooting teams Indiana has ever had. Against Minnesota, they shot 11% from behind the arc and are shooting just under 32% for the year.

They have gone through huge scoring droughts and it has kept them from winning many games. They still could make the tournament because of their big win against Marquette at the beginning of the year and their win at Michigan State, but they are doing themselves no favors lately.

They have the opportunity for some big wins coming up as they play Purdue and Iowa this week and then Wisconsin and Michigan State next week. They win a few of those games and they could build a good enough resume to make it. The problem is they have not shown they can win those games with the way they are playing lately. This is definitely a make or break two weeks for the Hoosiers.
