4. Myles Powell, Seton Hall

Myles Powell is the second best scorer in the Big East, only behind the incredible Markus Howard. Powell averaged 21.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. His weakness is his average of 3.0 turnovers per contest, which is terrible considering it’s higher than his assists per game average.

Powell is a great scorer, but he has moments where he’s stagnant offensively. He’s not a great defender, and he’s not much of a playmaker. Really he’s on this list at number four due to his pure ability to put the ball in the basket more times than not. He’s infamous for taking bad shots, but similarly to McClung (As well as the rest of the guys on this list), Powell has the ultimate green light, so he does get criticized for his occasional bad shot selection.

Nonetheless, Myles Powell is a great scorer that paces a strong Seton Hall squad that should be an NCAA tournament team. Powell can score it in a variety of ways, and he’s one of the toughest assignments for defenders in the Big East.
