2. Louisville streaks past Notre Dame

The Louisville Cardinals looked sharp in their 75-53 victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the second round of the ACC Tournament. The Cardinals held big man John Mooney to seven points on 3-of-18 shooting as their stifling defense led to an easy win in the third game of the day.

Jordan Nwora finished with 24 points and nine rebounds while Stephen Enoch finished with 10 points and seven rebounds as the Cardinals got their confidence back after losing to the Virginia Cavaliers to close out ACC regular season play.

Louisville held Notre Dame to 26.9 percent (18-of-67) shooting from the field and 11.1 percent (3-of-27) from behind the arc as their bench put up 35 points in the blowout win.

Next up for the Cardinals is the North Carolina Tar Heels, a team they went 1-1 against during the regular season. The Tar Heels are hot right now, so it will be interesting to see if the Cardinals can defeat them in the quarterfinals.
