9.Luguentz Dort, Arizona State Sun Devils

Luguentz Dort has carved quite the path for himself so far with the Arizona State Sun Devils. Dort jumped into the starting lineup right away this season with the Sun Devils and hasn’t looked back. He’s producing 16.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game as quite the wing player at 6-foot-4. He can fill it up at quite the clip and also has a knack for the boards.

Dort poured in a career-high 33 points along with seven rebounds against the Utah State Aggies back on Nov. 21. Including his 33-point effort, he also had seven other games with 20 points or more during the regular season.

In their 80-76 upset of the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks, his 13 points came in handy in an all-around team effort. Arizona State is in the play-In game against the St. John’s Red Storm on Wednesday which will be a challenge given they also have some stars in the backcourt by the names of Shamorie Ponds and Mustapha Heron. If the Sun Devils get past them, look for Dort to have a big game on both ends.
