1. Will Gonzaga make the Final Four as a No. 1 seed?

The Gonzaga Bulldogs survived the final cuts from the Selection Committee and earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament but they’ll have their work cut out for them in the West region.

Gonzaga went 16-0 in WCC play and made it all the way to the conference tournament finals before losing to the Saint Mary’s Gaels, 60-47. It could have been the wakeup call they needed after reeling off 21-straight victories to close out the regular season and conference tournament.

A loss in the NCAA Tournament sends them home early but they should be playing with an extra chip on their shoulder given recent results. With a 37-3 record, two losses have come against ranked opponents that are in the field of 68.

They’ve got the players and depth with Rui Hachimura, Brandon Clarke and Zach Norvell Jr. leading the charge. Then the return of Killian Tillie still hasn’t quite matched their flow as a top-ranked team. If they can put it together at the right time, a return to the Final Four isn’t totally out the question for them.
