8) Can we get actual college basketball broadcasters, please?

This has been grinding my gears for several years now and may only get picked up on by college basketball junkies by myself, but we need to get broadcasters that actually know/what college basketball during the season to call these games.

Novel concept, right?

Turner has put their star broadcasters on these games which I get, but I don’t want to hear Reggie Miller stumble over himself and saying incorrect things every 30 seconds because he doesn’t know anything about them. They’re just reading the stat sheet and it’s tiresome.

There are plenty of them out there. Turner has deals with announcers on other networks that allows them to also do some games on CBS and other Turner networks. Bill Raftery, for example, does Big East games on FOX and also does some CBS games during the year and then in the tournament.

Why can’t we get more guys like that and less of guys like Reggie Miller and Chris Webber who, while great, are not knowledgeable when it comes to college basketball.

Give us people who are actually knowledgable and care, not just NBA guys on re-assignment.
