8. Ole Miss Rebels

Ole Miss isn’t exactly known for their basketball. However one hire of Kermit Davis last off season changed that. In a bit of a surprise, Davis has led the Rebels to an 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament in his first season.

The Rebels also have a nice look to go with their tournament appearance, kind of a hitting the lottery in a way.

Making the NCAA Tournament is the goal of every team when the season starts, and it’s only a plus when the team looks good doing it. The Rebels have a nice uniform set, starting with these home whites. The red lettering is easy to see, with a blue outlining making them pop even more.

The striping down the side of the uniform is a rare look, a thick blue stripe accented by a thin red stripe, with “OLE MISS” written in the blue, coming up from the bottom of the shorts.

The road reds have two solid blue and white stripes going down the side of the red uniform, with “Ole Miss” written across the front of the jersey in that famous script.

The Rebs have a gray alternate with blue and red striping, and did a “powder blue out” night against Louisiana-Monroe earlier this season, and those are the only ones that didn’t look good.

Overall, a 7 out of 10 for the Rebels here. They really do a nice job of incorporating their whole color scheme.
