2. Wisconsin Badgers

The No. 5 seeded Wisconsin Badgers saw their NCAA Tournament run end in the first round against the No. 12 Oregon Ducks, who are currently in the Sweet 16. The Badgers met their match with the Ducks as they won going away 72-54 in a route.

Wisconsin put out their third-lowest scoring game of the season on the big stage as they were favored against their opponent. Things were all tied up at 25 at the half but in the second half, Oregon turned things up a bit. They outscored the Badgers 47-29 as Payton Pritchard and Louis King finished the game with 19 points and 17 points, respectively.

The Badgers made just 11 total field goals in the second half on 30.6 percent shooting from the floor and 21.1 percent shooting from behind the arc. It was their second-straight loss as they finish up the season with a 23-11 record. They’ll need to look at replacing leading scorer Ethan Happ and guard Khalil Iverson now, making them a tough choice for next year’s tournament.
