2. Get Cam Reddish and Tre Jones involved in the offense.

Williamson and Barrett get all the media attention and hype, but Cam Reddish and Tre Jones are import pieces of the offense as well. When Reddish and Jones are clicking alongside Williamson and Barrett, the Blue Devils game are elevated to a whole new level.

Reddish is an excellent offensive player, but where he shines is from the 3-point line. He is shooting 33.3 percent from behind the arc, and averaging 7.5 attempts per a game. Reddish has been a streaky shooter at times throughout the year, but he can make up for it on the defensive side of the ball. He provides great on-ball defense that makes it hard for opponents to shoot over him. Reddish also displays great calmness under pressure in late game situations. This calmness was displayed in both the Florida State and UCF game.

Jones is an important piece to the team, but teams are starting to play way off of him on offense. He has not been a great 3-point shooter this year, shooting 23.2 percent from behind the arc. In the Round of 32 game versus UCF, the Knights put Tacko Fall on him. Fall didn’t leave the painted area and dared Jones to shoot the three. The Knights showed a gameplan for opposing teams to try and utilize to take Jones playmaking out the game. Jones is an excellent free-throw line jump shooter and playmaker though. If Jones can take one dribble in he can get to his spot on the floor and knock down the jump shot, or dish it to the open player.

With all of the attention from the defense on Williamson and Barrett. Reddish and Jones will be looked upon to contribute on the offensive end to take some of the burdens off of Williamson and Reddish.
