Joshua Christopher – Bellflower, CA

SG | 6-foot-4 | 200 lbs | No. 7 overall

One of the most well-rounded players in the class, Joshua Christopher fits the mold of a prototypical shooting guard for the modern game. He has above-average length and a college-ready body that he uses effectively on both ends of the floor. He makes extremely difficult plays look fluid as his athleticism and creativity around the rim are outstanding. In addition, he can stretch the floor reasonably well and can fill up the basket in a hurry. Unlike other athletic guards, Christopher has the ability to operate in the halfcourt almost as well as he scores in transition.

On the other end of the floor, Christopher’s strength and athleticism give him an advantage. He can match up with positions 1-through-3 and is able to hold his own. In order to take the next step as a prospect, he could develop as a secondary playmaker. With more ability to create for himself/others, his entire game could take the next step but there is a reason why he is rated in the top-10 for the 2020 class. Christopher is a special player.

In 19 contests on the EYBL circuit, he showed his scoring acumen by averaging 19.9 points (.440/.365/.725) while recording 4.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game as well. He played for the Las Vegas Prospects and showed every trick in the book. He has received plenty of high-major offers but there are not any Crystal Ball predictions for his future destination yet.
