3. Do not do anything different from what has been done all season

The Texas Tech Red Raiders have dominated the competition in the NCAA Tournament. This was done with their incredible defense, efficient offense, and hustle. On Saturday, absolutely nothing can change.

Texas Tech is not the most talented team in the field. In fact, they probably are the LEAST talented team remaining. However, the Red Raiders haven’t gotten to this point by accident. Texas Tech’s gameplan has been the best out of any other team in the NCAA Tournament, and that style should not change just because the stage is a bit bigger.

The offense still has to begin and end with Jarrett Culver. Culver is the best player in the Final Four, and he needs to touches to perform as such.

Texas Tech’s defense has been what got them to the Final Four, and their scheme cannot change. Texas Tech cannot be pressured into planning differently just because they are two games away from a National Championship. What worked against Gonzaga will work against Michigan State.

Texas Tech needs to show up with the same energy, intellect, and poise in the Final Four, and if they do just that, we will certainly be seeing the Red Raiders play one more game on Monday.

Next. Texas Tech path to the Final Four. dark

The Texas Tech Red Raiders have had an improbable run this season, and it will all come down to Saturday’s game against Michigan State. As long as the Red Raiders abide by the three aforementioned keys, we will see them play one more game, that being the National Championship on Monday.
