Why Kentucky?

I asked what environment was he most looking forward to playing at aside from Rupp Arena. Sestina said, “Either playing at Tennessee or Vanderbilt, but it is a tough choice”. Then, I asked another recruiting pitch question to him, was having a legitimate chance to compete for a national title a factor for him.

I could tell by his response that this was a big factor as he stated, “Having the chance to play in the NCAA tournament one more time was very appealing to me. I think it’s an environment that’s unmatched in sports, and something that I was devastated I couldn’t be a part of this year”.

I finished my interview with one last question, who has been his toughest match-up in his college career so far player wise. Sestina did not hesitate with two names “Miles Bridges and Luke Maye as Maye is just good at everything he does on both sides of the ball”. Obviously, from these answers, you can tell he is a very coachable player and someone who is ready to take the next step in his game.
