6. NC State Wolfpack

The NC State Wolfpack didn’t make the NCAA Tournament in 2018 but they should be back and better than ever in 2019-20 with Jalen Lecque leading the way. Lecque has submitted paperwork, exploring his eligibility for the NBA Draft. He could test the waters but a year with the Wolfpack would do him some good.

With a lead guard like Lecque, they shouldn’t have any issues scoring the basketball next season. Markell Johnson is also testing the NBA Draft process, but he has an opportunity to return. If he does, consider NC State an NCAA Tournament team.

The Wolfpack still have one spot left to fill in their 2019 recruiting class and adding another versatile prospect could be key in their improvement next season. Coach Keatts has the team on the right track as they made a run in the postseason in the NIT. Look for them to be a much better squad next season.
