2. Duke Blue Devils

The Duke Blue Devils luck ran out in the Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament but they should be right back in the conversation for a national title contender in 2019-20. Tre Jones is due to return with the departure of Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett already pretty much apparent.

Jones had a solid NCAA Tournament performance, averaging 10.5 points, 5.2 assists and 3.5 rebounds per contest through four contests.

They’ve got a number of top recruits on the way once again led by big man Vernon Carey Jr.. As a dominant force inside, the Blue Devils will look to him to shoulder the load for them next season.

Jones will be joined by Joey Baker, Alex O’Connell, Marques Bolden and Jordan Goldwire. After the trials they went through without Williamson, look for their development to come along a lot more this upcoming season.
