15. Wake Forest Demon Deacons

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons have everyone returning in 2019-20 including highly rated prospect Jaylen Hoard. Expectations will rise for Howard in Year two if he does decide to return. They also have four players incoming in their 2019 recruiting class and could potentially add a recruit or two.

Head coach Danny Manning’s job could be on the line after posting an 11-20 record and going 4-14 in the ACC in 2018-19. They weren’t dead last, but given their outlook from a recruiting standpoint, they’ve still got some work to do.

The Demon Deacons will need to make a splash in the final recruiting window for the 2019 calendar year if they hope for their status in the power rankings to move up a notch. They ranked 13th in the conference last season in scoring with 64.2 points per game.

With experience returning, they’ll need to show a vast improvement on offense and in turn, get more victories in conference action. If they don’t they could find themselves hunting for a new coach.
