10. Virginia Tech Hokies

The departure of Buzz Williams has given way to a mass exodus on the roster front but head coach Mike Young should be fine on the recruiting trail despite having just five players on the active roster for 2019-20.

The turnaround Williams made in just five seasons with the Hokies is proof that winning is possible in Blacksburg. Young may have a few bumps in the road with a bare cupboard heading into the new season but he’s an experienced coach and recruiter coming off his best season with the Wofford Terriers.

Virginia Tech will look like a new team going forward, but they’re in good hands under head coach Mike Young. They could get some players back that entered their name into the transfer portal and even regain the commitment of Ant Harris. For now, they’ll look to build a solid staff around Young and look to remain relevant in the ACC.
