8.Notre Dame Fighting Irish

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are another team that took some lumps during the 2018-19 season but with much of their production returning next season, they should be in better shape.

After going 14-19 overall and 3-15 in ACC play, the Fighting Irish will have a shot to turn things around with some experience under their belt. One big loss is D.J. Harvey, who entered his name in the transfer portal following the end of the season.

They’re in the Top-4 for top-rated point guard Cole Anthony and they’ve also got an offer out there for Matthew Hurt, another highly-rated prospect. It will be interesting to see if they can nab a top prospect with zero current commits in their 2019 recruiting class.

John Mooney and T.J. Gibbs are set for big senior seasons while Prentiss Hubb is due for a breakout season after a productive freshman campaign. Don’t be surprised if this team turns into an NCAA Tournament team before it’s all said and done.
