Creighton Bluejays

One of the more underrated programs in the nation, Creighton has been rather successful over the past few years under head coach Greg McDermott. And while the program is yet to make a substantial run in the NCAA Tournament, they are almost always in the postseason conversation and the program has also seen a recent uptick in recruiting victories as well. With regards to this 2019 class, though, the Bluejays only have one commitment (local product Shereef Mitchell) and they are looking to build on that with Enaruna.

Creighton has been heavily involved in this recruitment for a very long time and it certainly seems as though there is a strong relationship between Enaruna and the coaching staff. They have been recruiting the young forward ever since he was playing over in the Netherlands and that could pay dividends in the end. Assistant coach Alan Huss has been the lead recruiter. In addition to this strong relationship, though, it is important to mention that Creighton’s current roster construction would allow for Enaruna to play big minutes as a freshman.

To put it simply, the fit, in this case, seems superb. Coach McDermott and Co. love to play at a fast pace and launch 3-pointers at a high rate. If Enaruna were to commit, he would instantly join the rotation on the wing as a versatile forward that can run the floor, switch on defense, and knock down 3-pointers in transition and in the halfcourt. According to Bluejay Today, Enaruna had this to say about potentially joining the program:

"“I know they will give me the opportunity to play right away as a freshman. For me that is a really important thing in choosing a college to play at…They see me fit really good on the perimeter as a 3 and running the pick and roll. Personally I like to run the pick and roll and feel really comfortable with it and can stretch the floor to find teammates out of the pick and maybe get an open lane for myself or find the big.”"
