LSU Tigers

LSU has been on fire both on the recruiting trail and on the court since head coach Will Wade took over at the program. And while there is certainly some controversy there, Coach Wade was recently reinstated by the school and that may play a factor in this recruitment. This is due to the fact that Coach Wade is one of the best recruiters in the nation and the Tigers will always be involved with top-rated players as long as he is at the helm.

With regards to this specific recruitment, LSU has been heavily involved with Quinones for a very long time. In fact, prior to Coach Wade’s suspension near the end of this past season, many recruiting experts thought that the Tigers were the heavy favorites to land Quinones. According to Geaux247, Coach Wade made him a priority prior to this past season and they have built up a strong relationship. This is a great sign for the Tigers, especially when you consider how Quinones would fill a massive need for them this offseason.

With several key players leaving this offseason, LSU will need to replace a ton of shooting. With Quinones’ smooth stroke and all-around game, the Tigers would land a starting guard to roam the perimeter next season. Quinones would likely take on a featured role right away and that could certainly be appealing, especially when you consider that he would also be playing in one of the toughest conferences in America.
