2019-20 Outlook

The Golden Eagles don’t have any scholarship spots left open for the 2019-20 season despite guard Avery Wilson’s decision to transfer. Their roster is complete It makes for an impactful class that they’ve got coming in for 2019.

The return of guard Wynston Tabbs will also loom huge. He’s a player that produced 13.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game through 15 appearances in 2018-19 and should do a whole lot more on the stat sheet without Ky Bowman in the rotation.

Other than Tabbs, they return two full-time starters in Nik Popovic and Jared Hamilton. Popovic was second on the team in scoring last season (14.5 ppg). Mitchell was their best rebounder (7.9 rpg) but produced just 4.6 points per game. He’ll look to bounce back on offense this upcoming season.

They’ll also return freshman Jairus Hamilton, who had a productive first season of college basketball.  He put up 5.6 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in 30 appearances off the bench.
