Preparing for next season

Tom Izzo and his coaching staff by all accounts handled this past season better than they did when the lost in the Big Ten Tournament and lost on the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament in Detroit to Syracuse in a monumental upset that many did see coming in 2018. The 2019 Spartans showed resilience and composure in the months of February and March.

The 2019-2020 season is an all or nothing mentally for Michigan State. They will have the best team overall with a tremendous blend of experience, talent, and depth. The scary part is they can get even better if they were to land a transfer like Virginia Tech’s Kerry Blackshear or another talented big man.

You never know who will make it the national championship game. Not many expected and or predicated a Texas Tech versus Virginia final. However, this upcoming team has the feel that it will be the consensus favorite to win it all in 2020. Time will tell in the end but as of now, the Spartans are most likely team to win it all.
