No 2. – Larry Krystkowiak (Utah)

Remember the years with Delon Wright and Jakob Poetl, I bet Krystkowiak wishes he could go back to those years. many people thought he could be a dark horse for the UCLA job, but I was thinking to myself he would be lucky to keep his own job right now.

He does not have the greatest recruiting appeal, and it is not like Utah is going to attract recruits over some of the other areas in the Pac-12. So he leans on doing to recruits, what he did to the aforementioned Wright and Poetl. Those players only come around for coaches once in a few years, he was lucky to have both at one time.

He also does not have a very stellar record at 147-106, and only made the tournament two times, both of them with either Poetl or Wright on the team. He has lost 12 games 6 of 8 years and three of those years he had 14 losses. At a bigger school that is grounds to be fired without a second opinion from anyone.

Krystkowiak was mentioned for a bigger and better job, but before he is even considered for another I think he should fix his own program in Utah. He is already on the coaching hot seat along with No. 1.
