Indiana Hoosiers

Pros

The Indiana Hoosiers have been a solid recruiting team since Archie Miller took the helm, and they find themselves in the thick of Watford’s recruiting.

While last year’s prized recruit Romeo Langford is gone for the NBA draft, a few remnants will be back for next year. Notably, Rob Phinisee and Justin Smith will be back in Bloomington. If Watford were to team up with those two, the Hoosiers would have one of the best big three’s in the Big 10 and would become a competitor for a Big 10 Title.

Indiana has also been a nice stop for NBA talent, as Victor Oladipo, Cody Zeller, Noah Vonleh and more have all been lottery picks after their time in Indiana.

Cons

Like LSU, Indiana will certainly experience somewhat of a recession after last season, as both Langford and Juwan Morgan are gone, leaving Indiana fairly thin in a competitive Big 10.

For a team that missed the NCAA Tournament, betting on Indiana to return to the Big Dance, even with Watford, is not safe. If Watford wants to make the most of his college career with big-time Postseason basketball, neither Indiana nor LSU are good fits for him.
