2019 NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Predicting landing spots for last top-100 players

Precious Achiuwa – #16
Precious Achiuwa is a very fun recruit to watch, he will wow you with his freakish athleticism, but he can also leave you scratching your head on why he just made that bonehead mistake. He has the ups and downs much like Kevin Knox had while he was at Kentucky, but with Achiuwa even when he is not shooting well he will still have the leaps. According to 24/7sports his crystal ball has him between 3 schools Memphis, Syracuse, and UConn.
Syracuse will definitely fit his athleticism as with their zone defense they love their front-court to be long and athletic. Memphis is a team that I have already covered for two previous recruits, and for Achiuwa it is much the same he has a chance to take them to the next level, but will not really stand out like he would at other schools. UConn has a background with big men that I think might play a factor much like with Chol Marial. All three of these will be making a push as it is not every year you end up signing someone with Achiuwa’s athleticism.
Prediction – Memphis
I think there is going to be the James Wiseman factor is his choice. Achiuwa would be able to flourish as the other forward alongside of Wiseman. He would create a lot of mismatches and with Wiseman there on the inside it will restrict the amount of help-side defense brought therefore improving his scoring and percentages in theory.
