One spot left

Maybe the most interesting part is who will get the 13th scholarship for the Spartans. The only scholarship player for next season not already mentioned is true freshmen forward Julius Marble who is destined for a red-shirt unless he is able to prove that he can contribute and or the Spartans are hit with multiple injuries next season.

There has been numerous rumors of who will get the 13th scholarship. Will it be highly sought after graduate transfer Virginia Tech’s Kerry Blackshear who it appears is on every big programs radar? Could it be a 2020 recruit like N’Faly Dante who may re-classify and be in the 2019 class? Finally could there be a transfer opening up to the possibility of  both Sam Hauser and Joey Hauser transferring to Michigan State?

No one know the above answers but Izzo and his team have many things to look forward to for this off-season and more importantly next season. Michigan State will be very deep and talented from the 1-4 spots and a transfer like Blackshear could make the Spartans to hands odd favorites to win it all. Winston and company will be ready to make a run with the opportunity to be named the 2020 national champions.
