Alabama: Trendon Watford (PF) – Undecided

A 6’9 forward and five-star recruit from Birmingham, Watford is someone who can score all over the floor. For the second straight year, Watford was named Alabama Mr. Basketball and was Gatorade’s Player of the Year for the state once more. Each of the last two seasons, he topped 20 points and 10 rebounds per game, dominating at Mountain Brook High School. He’s yet to announce his college decision, though LSU and Memphis seem to be his two most likely landing places. Whoever lands Watford is going to get one of the top offensive players in the class, though he’ll need to improve on defense in college play.

Alaska: Sullivan Menard (G) – DePaul Blue Demons

The talented 6’3 guard from Palmer, Alaska shined this season for Colony High School. Menard was named the 2019 Gatorade Player of the Year in Alaska and led his school with nearly 16 points per game and 5 rebounds. He led his team to a 3rd place finish in Alaska’s largest division. There haven’t been a lot of talented basketball players coming out of Alaska, but Menard stood out this year for his work ethic. He’ll be at DePaul next season as a preferred walk-on and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him scrap for some well-earned minutes as his career progresses.

Arizona: Nico Mannion (PG) – Arizona Wildcats

The 6’3 point guard from Phoenix is a top ten recruit. He’s been lauded for his skill, talent, and basketball IQ, dropping more than 30 points a game for Pinnacle High School en route to a second straight 6A state title. He played well in the McDonald’s All-American game and starred as both a scorer and ball distributor in high school. He was Arizona’s Gatorade Player of the Year and has really risen up the ranks as a result of a solid high school career. He’s one of the crown jewels of Sean Miller’s high ranked recruiting class and should bring consistent shooting and high energy to the Wildcats next season.
