No.4 – Tennessee

The Volunteers are the team on this list coming off the best season. They were in the running to be a one seed in the tournament, and ran into the buzz saw of Purdue in the tournament. They I think are just going to have too much competition for minutes for his liking. Why would a recruit reclassify to go to a school where the minutes were not guaranteed?

The good news for the Volunteers is that Cone only scheduled two visits and they were one of them. Typically recruits commit to schools that they visit, and well that may be foreshadowing where I think he will end up it is true. Look at most recruits for the past decade have signed, most have visited the school they are going to. I think the Volunteers would offer Cone the best coaching staff with Rick Barnes, but he would still be at the university next year along with more minutes.

Going back to his visit, I already said that he was going to commit on the 9th, his visit is scheduled for the 10th, I think that is a red flag. He must have his mind already made up, and with the best pitch usually at the visit, that does not bode well for Tennessee.
