Brandon Boston Jr. – Norcross, GA

SG | 6-foot-6 | 175 lbs | No. 8 overall

One of the most intriguing players in the 2020 class, Brandon Boston Jr. is extremely long and athletic at 6-foot-6. Although listed as a shooting guard, he can play many different positions due to these attributes. His versatility is on full display on both ends of the floor and it is a major reason why he is ranked in the top-10 for this class. Boston has the ability to score around the rim, let it fly from distance, and also rebounds particularly well for his position. His secondary playmaking abilities could improve but he is already a star in the making.

While playing alongside Sharife Cooper for the AOT Running Rebels, Boston has been tremendous as a scoring option. Through four games (1-3), he is averaging 22.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. The team’s only win of the EYBL Atlanta weekend, though, occurred in the only game where Boston shot fewer than 15 times and only scored eight points.

As you would expect, Boston has been targeted by several of the elite programs in the country. Duke is obviously one of them but there is no such thing as an easy recruiting win with regards to a top-10 player. Boston has a ton of game and his two-way potential is off the charts. If he is able to add more strength in the coming year, it would not be a surprise to see him rise even further in the rankings. He is going to be a stud.
