Cam Reddish – Duke Blue Devils

One of the biggest question marks in the upcoming NBA draft is where Cam Reddish will be selected. Let’s flashback one year ago when life was much different for him. Reddish was the third-ranked prospect in the entire country and chose to attend Duke, well aware that he was joining the number one and two recruits, Zion and RJ, in front of him from the high school class of 2018.

Reddish could have attended any other university in the country and been the go-to guy. If he is now thinking back and wondering “What if?” he is not alone. Every NBA team in the lottery is trying to gauge Reddish’s skill set and see how applicable it is at the next level. You can find current mock drafts that have Reddish going anywhere from 3rd all the way to 15th.

However, I think it is clear that he will no longer be a top-3 draft pick with the breakout season Ja Morant had this season, especially considering his performances in the NCAA Tournament. A lot can change in a year and I imagine Cam is wondering how his draft stock might be different had he not chosen to play for the Blue Devils.
