No. 8 – Arizona

The Wildcats are a team that has players just entering the league that are going to be studs, and that is why I have them over some of the other schools. They currently have four players that averaged double digits points this season, one that averaged a double-double, and one that has been a finals MVP. That’s right the college of Andre Iguodala, Lauri Markkanen, Aaron Gordon, and DeAndre Ayton.

While most of their ranking comes from their current players, I do love some of their older players as well. Someone like the Jet Jason Terry, Mike Bibby, and “Agent Zero” Gilbert Arenas. Arenas did have some issues during his playing days, but his game cannot be denied. He averaged over 20 points for his career and over five assists as well. They also had Richard Jefferson who in his prime was a 20 point per game scorer for the Nets.

The Wildcats are a school that I think are just starting their talent development as their real first player to stick around and produce at a high level was in 1989 when Sean Elliott was drafted. They are going to continue to grow, and on top of all that, they are the alma mater of the Warriors coach Steve Kerr who was also a teammate of Michael Jordan.
