Before he was winning NBA Dunk Contests, Aaron Gordon was making noise in the NCAA with the Arizona Wildcats. Gordon was another member of the 2013-14 class. With his ability to rock the rim and stretch the floor, he became an instant prospect to watch in the draft lottery.

As a freshman, Gordon appeared in all 38 games as a starter for the Wildcats during the 2013-14 season. He averaged 12.4  points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks per contest, as he took home Pac-12 Rookie of the Year and All-Pac-12 First Team honors during his one-year run in the NCAAs.

He led the conference in offensive rebounds (102) and finished third in total made field goals (173) before it was all said and done. In the 2014 NCAA Tournament, he produced 14.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.2 blocks per contest, as the Wildcats made it all the way to the Elite Eight as a No. 1 seed. They lost in the end to the Wisconsin Badgers, 64-63.

Gordon went on to enter his name into the 2014 NBA Draft and was selected fourth overall by the Orlando Magic. 11 games into his rookie year, he was ruled out indefinitely with a broken left foot.

Since his injury, he’s managed to stay relatively healthy, as he continues to develop with the Magic. He’s also managed to make a splash in the 2016 and 2017 NBA Slam Dunk Contests, though he’s yet to win the event.

He’s another one-and-done player that’s managed to see his game translate at the next level. This past season, he produced 16.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game through 78 appearances.
