Terrence Clarke – Boston, MA

SG | 6-foot-6 | 180 lbs | No. 2 overall

One of the best playmaking wings in the 2021 class, Terrence Clarke sees the floor at an incredibly high level. Although most recruiting services list him as a shooting guard, it is totally reasonable to expect that he could be a primary initiator at the college level. In addition to his quality vision and passing skill, Clarke’s athleticism allows him to get to the rim with consistency and he finishes quite well through traffic when necessary.

As a primary rotation member for Expressions Elite (17U), Clarke has averaged 17.2 points (.468/.364/.688), 4.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game across eight contests. His performances have been centered mainly around scoring but his playmaking has also opened some eyes. Thanks to his play, his team stands with a 6-2 record through the first two EYBL sessions. The key for him moving forward, though, might be experiencing continued success as a perimeter shooter.

It is also important to mention that he projects as an elite defender as well. Clarke boasts a unique combination of quickness, size, length, and strength that allows him to lock down multiple positions. This defensive versatility, along with his playmaking abilities on the wing, will make him a highly sought-after 2021 prospect.
