Brandon Clarke – F Gonzaga

Clarke would be a good fit for the Hornets if the lose Kemba because he can score the ball. Yet again though he is an average size forward that can’t shoot the three ball all that well. But, he does have more to him than just scoring. He averaged 3.2 blocks per game this season again just like Fernando a solid defensive presence to have back. Clarke will also have very active hands in the passing lanes as well. The best part in my opinion of his game is his IQ. He knows the game of basketball and it shows with him almost never turning the ball over while on offense.

He has a lot of room to grow as well. He went to San Jose State before transferring for his Junior year to Gonzaga. He could very well turn into someone who plays 30-33 minutes a game with a very solid defensive game like Serge Ibaka once did. The floor for Clarke is also much lower than most others too.

You might question that because of how Frank Kaminsky turned out, but Clarke played in a very different style in college. The Bulldogs want to play fast just like everyone else, where with Kaminsky, Wisconsin wanted to slow the game down. He averaged 17-8 this season and I do not think it is a stretch to think he could very well do that in the NBA in a few years.
