Jalen Terry – Michigan State

PG | 5-foot-10 | 155 lbs | No. 98 overall

Michigan State has been one of the most consistent programs in the country over the past several years. Under head coach Tom Izzo, the team has been extremely successful and he has done a great job recruiting to his system. With a new point guard leader in Jalen Terry committed in the 2020 class, it seems as though those successes will continue into the next few seasons as well. Although viewed as a tad undersized, Terry is a superb player with the ability to fill up the stat sheet in a number of ways.

As the primary playmaker for The Family Detroit (MI) on the EYBL circuit, Terry is excelling. Through nine recorded games, the star point guard is averaging 16.2 points (.442/.281/.750), 4.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.8 assists per game. His contributions have helped push the team to an early 6-3 record as he not only scores for himself but also does a nice job keeping everyone else involved as well.

Jalen Terry looks poised to be the point guard of the future for Michigan State. The program has been incredibly successful over the years due in part to dominating that position and Terry could be the next in line. He will also possibly have the opportunity to play alongside another highly-touted guard in 2019 commit Rocket Watts.
