Weaknesses

Cam Reddish still has a lot to prove after playing third option to Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett. During his time with the Blue Devils, he wasn’t able to show off his abilities as a physically dominant forward or his abilities as a point-forward.

He finished scoring in single digits in 13 of his 36 appearances during his freshman season and shot just 35.6 percent from the field in 2018-19.

He’s still learning how to be physical on both ends and the jump to the league will need him to grow up fast with players above his caliber. He settled on shooting more 3-pointers (267) than two-point field goals (165) in 2018-19. In the NBA, he’ll be looked upon to be a slasher as well as a facilitator.

Reddish will need to show off his point-forward ability in an NBA system. While at Duke, he averaged just 1.9 assists per contest this past season. His role will be dependent on his ability to show off all of his guard skills. If he can develop as a distributor and defender, look for his star power to grow in the league.
